the breakfast offered a wide variety. the staff was helpful with directions and recommendations for local attractions. it really was a nice touch. also, the hotel provided a daily turn-down service.
The wi-fi signal was weak in my room. i found it difficult to stream videos at times. I often heard it operating, and this disrupted my sleep. i found this annoying

the breakfast had many choices I found acceptable.
i WAS disappointed my room lacked soundproofing. i COULD clearly hear street noise and conversations from other rooms. the noise made it hard to sleep well. the staff also seemed uninterested when i mentioned it at checkout.

i found the location very good with several tourist attractions at walking distance. several eating joints were close by! the tram stop was also just a few minutes walk. a very nice breakfast was available to start off my day!
the price was quite high regarding the condition of the hotel, it is old, and it shows.

a pleasant experience

the breakfast was tasty. it had a buffet with pastries and cooked food, with gluten-free bread offered to me. the location was wonderful too. the hotel was on a quiet cobblestone street near restaurants and cafés.
my expectations were maybe too high based on reviews. i arrived late and found the door locked with nobody at reception. i had to call an emergency number on the door to get access, it was a strange start.
